Body-camera video shows actor David Koechner failing field sobriety tests during a recent traffic stop in Lawrence County, Ohio.
Koechner, known for his roles in Anchorman and The Office, was pulled over early on June 4 and refused a breathalyzer test, according to police. He was arrested and issued a court summons for driving while impaired, refusing to submit to a breathalyzer or urine sample, and driving on a suspended license.
Body-camera video from the Ohio State Highway Patrol shows one officer recognize Koechner at the beginning of the traffic stop. Koechner appears to have trouble speaking and standing, and fails a walking test on the side of the road.
During another test, Koechner is told to balance on one leg while counting. He has trouble balancing and cant keep track of the count.
The incident comes six months after Koechner was arrested in Ventura County, California, on Dec. 31, 2021. He was charged with DUI and hit-and-run in that incident on March 31.
