Police in Connecticut on Friday arrested a man suspected of killing and dismembering his 11-month-old daughter after a weekslong manhunt. Video released by the Waterbury Police Department shows the arrest of Christopher Francisquini, 31, shortly after 3 p.m. Friday at a bus stop on Grant Street. He was wanted by the Naugatuck Police Department, about six miles away, on charges of murder with special circumstance and risk of injury to a minor. Francisquinis 11-month-old daughter, Camilla, was found dead of stab wounds and neck compressions in his home on Nov. 18. She had been dismembered, according to police. Surrounding police departments, along with state police and the FBI were searching for Francisquini. According to Naugatuck Police Chief Colin McAllister, an individual reported recognizing Francisquini at the bus stop Friday. Police did not reveal an alleged motive for the killing, and said the incident is still under investigation.
