A woman walking with two children and a dog was groped and fell to the ground in a random street assault in Brooklyn, New York. The incident took place about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, in the vicinity of 64th St. and 9th Ave. The New York City Police Department released surveillance video of the assault and appealed to the public for information on the suspect, who is wanted for forcible touching. In the footage, the woman can be seen pushing a stroller while another child and a small dog walk beside her. The suspect strides up from behind, but she seems to become aware of his presence. She turns to look over her shoulder just as the suspect reaches out to slap her buttocks. She reacts, and the attempt to stop him causes her and the child beside her to tumble to the ground, tipping the stroller along with them. The suspect fled the scene. The woman and her children did not require medical attention. Police said the assailant was unknown to the victim. The suspect is described as a male with dark hair and a light complexion, last seen wearing a navy blue, short-sleeved shirt, tan pants and white sneakers.
