A Florida man was arrested this week for alleged drug trafficking, and two women were arrested for interfering with the execution of the search warrant, according to the Volusia County Sheriffs Office.
Detectives with the East Volusia Narcotics Task Force surveilled an apartment at Andros Isles Apartments in Daytona Beach and arrested Brian Keith Allen, 33, a “known narcotics dealer with multiple open warrants.”
After Allens arrest, detectives executed a search warrant on the apartment. Daleesha Davis, 30, was arrested after she allegedly “attempted to force her way into the apartment, stomped on detectives’ feet and kneed one in the groin,” the sheriffs office said.
Davis was charged with resisting arrest and 2 counts of battery on a law enforcement officer. Bernadette Jackson, 31, was also charged with resisting an officer without violence, the sheriffs office said.
Detectives searching the property seized 128.8 grams of fentanyl, 25.3 grams of methamphetamine, 5 grams of crack cocaine, 15 Schedule II pills, 33 grams of THC concentrate, 3.19 grams of cannabis, and $2,322 in cash.
Allen faces several drug trafficking charges, including manufacturing fentanyl, along with a violation of probation possession of cocaine with intent to sell and fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement.
