Las Vegas police are searching for a suspect in a series of robberies at off-Strip casinos in the Las Vegas Valley.
Surveillance videos released by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department show the suspect in multiple parking lots. He can be seen driving a dark grey Chevrolet Cruze with Nevada plate 039V61 and a silver Mazda 6 with Nevada plate 902M64, both of which police say were previously reported stolen.
The suspect is described as a Black male, standing between 61” and 63”, 25–35 years old. He has been seen wearing a black mask, hooded sweatshirt and black gloves, police said.
Police say the string of robberies began in November 2022. Per reports, casino cages at four off-Strip casinos have been robbed since November. Casino cages are where cashiers handle chips and cash.
Two recent arrests were made following robberies at casinos on the Las Vegas Strip. James Booth, 37, was arrested on a charge of robbery with a deadly weapon after the casino cage at Caesars Palace was robbed shortly after midnight on Jan. 9. Zubaid Ibrahim Al Jarmi, 26, was arrested in connection with the Nov. 9 robbery of Resorts World Casino.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward or submit an anonymous tip.
