New York City police are searching for a suspect captured on surveillance video throwing a brick at the front window of a Manhattan gay bar Saturday. According to VERS owner David DeParolesa, the suspect has thrown a brick at the nightclubs window at least three times. Police confirmed the suspect is wanted in incidents that occurred on Nov. 13, Nov. 15, and Nov. 19. A video shared by the NYPD shows the suspect entering a convenience store and making a purchase. “The epidemic of anti-LGBTQ+ violence is national,” Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine tweeted Sunday. “A well-known gay bar on Manhattans west side has been attacked repeatedly in recent weeks. We can not stand for this.” Police are asking anyone with information to come forward or submit an anonymous tip.
