A lake party in Florida dubbed Mayhem at Lake George delivered on the promise of its name when a massive brawl was captured on video, leading to several arrests.
The annual event at Lake George, about 40 miles west of Daytona, attracts hundreds of revelers and boaters on May 7.
The chaos unfolded near an anchored DJ deck. Drone video shows several men brawling, punching and tackling each other. One person is seen being shoved off the DJ deck.
One man near the DJ deck can be seen with blood streaming down his face from an apparent head wound.
The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said it was assisted in patrolling the event by four other sheriffs departments from neighboring counties, along with fire and coast guard services.
Five people were arrested at the event, two for disorderly conduct, and three for boating under the influence. Dozens of boating citations were also issued.
