A man who seemed to be disguised in a ladies wig jumped up from a wheelchair to throw cake at the Mona Lisa in the Louvre Museum in Paris on Sunday.
Leonardo da Vincis masterpiece was protected by glass, and unharmed. Videos show a long line of museum visitors in the gallery filming the stunt, which was apparently meant as a climate protest.
According to museum visitors, the man attempted to smash the glass, then smeared cake on it. The man then threw what appeared to be roses before being escorted out by security, shouting to onlookers in French, Think of the Earth. Artists tell you, think of the Earth.
