Police are seeking the publics help identifying a suspect captured on video robbing an elderly man in Houston, Texas, in May.
Surveillance video released Thursday by the Houston Police Department shows the suspect at an apartment complex on the 8400 block of South Course at around 4:40 p.m. on May 28. The elderly victim can be seen working on his car when the suspect approaches him from behind and reaches into his pocket.
According to police, the suspect forcibly removed the victims wallet then fled the scene on a bicycle. The suspect is described as a Black male, 20–25 years old, standing between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward or submit an anonymous tip.
