Video shows a driver leaving her vehicle on railroad tracks just seconds before it was smashed by a train in Duluth, Georgia, near Atlanta. The crash occurred at around 9:45 p.m. on Friday, May 13, on Duluth Highway, near Buford Highway. In the video, the woman is seen leaving the apparently stuck vehicle, then reaching back in, seemingly to retrieve her belongings. Just then, the railroad crossing lights begin flashing and the barriers come down. Seconds after she walks away from the tracks, a cargo train pulling lumber plows through the car, crushing it completely. According to the Duluth Police Department, the woman said she was unfamiliar with the area and turned onto the tracks by accident.
